I am looking for a 3D variation of a 2D solution I found to "Return The Last Non Blank Cell In A Row Or Column With Formula". The formula is:
=LOOKUP(2,1/(A1:A13<>""),A1:A13)
Where the last non-blank cell in the column of A1:A13 is returned.
It's explained here: extendoffice.com/documents/excel/2104-excel-return-first-last-non-blank-cell-in-row-column.html
However, in my version of the formula, A1:A13 is a row instead -- J25:AJ25 -- and it's multiple rows, so I'm hoping to use a function so I can just drag it down. ALSO, my row is the same on multiple sheets, say Sheet1:Sheet5. If you only knew about 3D referencing, and not its limitations, you'd be tempted to try:
=LOOKUP(2,1/(A1:A13<>""),Sheet1:Sheet5!J25:AJ25)
You can't use 3D references in the LOOKUP function however.
Can anyone think of an alternative way about this?
