Need a formula to turn a cell red based on a relation between two different cells.

I have searched the internet for a way to change the color of a cell in a spreadsheet depending on the aging of the cell. Basically, I have a date in C2 and a value in H2 inputted from a drop down (currently 11 different values). What I am looking to do is have a cell turn red after 7 days from the C2 date IF the value of H2 is 'Pending/Active'. That will at least get me started in the right direction. If there is a link on this forum already explaining that I would be glad to read it. Thanks in advance.

Select the cell you want to be colored.

Suppose --> D1

Conditional Formatting Menu --> Using formulas -->

Type: -->

Choose Fill color as RED --> OK
