Formula incorrect to automate gantt based on start date and task duration

Hello,

I have a gantt chart where I want the gantt to automate through conditional formatting (see attached excel). I believe the conditional formatting is correct, but the current formula is incorrect that generates true or false based off the month and task duration.

Note, I have manually shaded the excel to show what I want it to look like.

Any help to update the formula would be much appreciated.

try this in k4 and fill all the way right and down:

for your conditional formatting, try a using a formula to determine which cells to format, and in the formula bar input =k4=true(), applied to the range $k$4:$ah$21

be careful about the $'s, they're quite important.
