    Start Date and End Date Lookup against a Range of Dates

    Hi Guys,

    Am working on a report for students that are skipping job rotation assignments by taking leave.

    I have provided a sample file which has the followings:
    • Column B: Start Date of Medical Leave
    • Column C: End Date of Medical Leave
    • Column D: Status (Showing which month the student missed its job rotation)
    • Column G: Date of Job Assignments
    • Column H: Month

    I am trying to find out if there is any quick formula to do a date match or date range match from my start and end dates (Column B and C) against date of assignments (Column G) and populate the month from Column H into Status in Column D.

    Appreciate your comments and suggestions much!

    1. column H, which is supposed to contain a month... is blank.
    2. there are no expected results, so with your explanation, I have no idea what you expect to see.
