    Conditional formatting cells, dates / # of days calculation

    Help with dates, and conditional cell color formatting please.

    I have in I7 cell a date, if I7 cell date is over 10 days, I want to calculate, conditional fomat J7 cell to red color, once J7 cell is in red color, I enter manually in J7 cell a date, then if J7 cell date is over 7 Days, then I want to put K7 cell in red color... so on..continue on that row.

    Any help please, or point me to the direction where I can find the answers. Thanks for the help.

    Do you want these rules to apply only to row 7?

    "if I7 cell date is over 10 days" Over 10 days from what?

    The first format is based on >10 days, the second is based on >7 days. What does "so on..continue on that row" mean? Does it stay >7 for the rest of the row?

    Based on exactly what you have written you would use "Use a formula". I will assume you mean "over 10 days old based on today's date." The formula to format J7 is:

    =TODAY()-I7>10

    The formula formula to format K7 is

    =TODAY()-J7>7

    Thank you AM6StringJazzer. It worked.

    Sorry I missed to say, in H7 there is a date value,
    If H7 date is over #of days, then I7.......
