Using Formatting as the Condition in an IF statement

Is there a way to use the color fill in a cell to return a value to that cell or an adjacent one? IE if the cell is filled green value should be 1, if blue value should be 2?

No, NAFAIAA. You could maybe use VBA but, as formatting isn't data, you might find that any formulae don't respond to changes immediately.

As TMS said, not without VBA. But if there is any logic as to why the cells are colored the way they are, you may be able to use that same logic in a formula.
