Formula for working out maximum number of variations

    Hi

I was hoping someone would be able to help with figuring out if there is a possible forumula for what I'm trying to achieve.

I'm trying to work out the possible number of variations available:

So column A would be location, e.g. row 1: London, row 2: Manchester, row 3: Sheffield etc

Column B would be shoe colour, e.g. row 1: red, row 2: blue, row 3: green

Column C would be shoe type, e.g. row 1: sports, row 2: casual, row 3: formal etc

Each row from each column can be combined with every other row from every other column, e.g. you can have london, red, sports; london, red, casual; london, blue, sports etc

Is there a forumula that could calculate the number of potential variations available? I can't seem to work it out! The table can be laid out differently if needed.

    Thanks for reading
