Formula Structure "Guide" feature not appearing in Excel for Mac 2016

I've used Excel on Windows for the past 2 years and there is an automatic feature that appears when you're writing a formula that shows the structure of the formula and bolds the section of the formula you are currently editing (see attached screenshot). I have recently switched to Excel for Mac 2016 and I can't figure out how to enable this feature. Does anyone know if this is possible? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, welcome to the forum

Take a look under the Options menu. I dont have/use Mac, so cant tell you how to get there, in Windows, it is File/Options. Select the Advanced tab and scroll down to Display, and see if you have Show Functions Screen Tips checked
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you
