    different conditions with IF and IFBLANK

    Hi guys,

    I got a scenario which I can't figure out and I hope someone will be able to help me with this.

    In cell B2 there is a menu with 3 conditions to be selected, Owner, Tenant and a blank cell.

    E2= name of owner
    I2= name of tenant

    I'd like a formula that copy the name from E2 to Q2 only if in B2 "Owner" is selected, copy the name from I2 to Q2 if "Tenant" is selected but, if the cell is blank I want Q2 to be blank.

    I managed to solve it in part but, the problem is if the cell is blank I'm having 0 rather than a blank cell in Q2.

    Any idea how to get this sorted?

    thanks a lot in advance.

    Post an example of the formula. the reason is if the cell is blank, equally it will return 0

    if(your formula=0,"", your formula) is one way to solve it
