Count if with variable

Hey guys you all have been very helpful all these times now I figured I would try to stump someone. Here is my problem formula

If Cell A1 equals todays date

And

Cell E2 Equals the date a case was assigned or opened.

How do I get cell F2 to calculate the total days a case has been open and have it show the word days after the number? Example: 42 days

(Not so fast sparky)

however here is the hitch

If cell G2 or H2 has a data in the cell then Cell F2 should show the word Closed.

Is this possible?

This works the only problem I am seeing is that it posts a negative day format so instead of it showing 42 days it is showing -42 days. How do I fix that?

Scratch last I figured it out just needed to switch the last calculation around.

Ok so one variable I'd like to try and see if you can help me with the solution on it.

Same formula as you gave me but with a slight twist.

Cell O7 is the date the case was closed but Cell P7 is the date the case was pulled aka I didnt close it since it was pulled from me and no longer an active case.

My question is what tweek needs to be made to the above mentioned formula to show the result of Closed vs Pulled.

I'd like to have the cell show a result of the days open if no data is in cell O7 or P7 but if there is a date in O7 have it show CLOSED and if there is a date in P7 have it show INACTIVE.

What would be the best formula?

Currently this is the formula being used.
