#Value!, combining numbers and text

Good afternoon team,

I have the following formula " =(G5*ReinstTime)+(H5*PrimaryTime)+(I5*CATime) " yes I have named the cells for better understanding in my file. Sometimes I need to use "OFF" or "N/A" instead of numbers on cell G5, well the result is #Value!. Is there a way to resolved it so that I can use numbers and text within that formula?

In addition to that, if I use =PRODUCT It will multiply it by 1 so I don't get accurate information Is there a way just to ignore that text on that cell?

If it's just G5 possibly having Text, and you want it ignored, but perform the rest of the formula, try:

=IFERROR(G5*ReinstTime,0)+(H5*PrimaryTime)+(I5*CATime)
