I have a workbook (actually google sheets doc, but could do this in excel too) that has a LOT of formulas on one sheet that reference another sheet in the workbook. I need to make a duplicate copy of the first sheet with all the formulas, keeping all the formulas the same but having it reference ANOTHER sheet for the source for the formulas.
Basically like this:
Sheet1 has formulas that pull data from Sheet2
Copy Sheet1 with all formulas the same, name it Sheet3
Copy Sheet2, update with a DIFFERENT data set and name it Sheet4
Change references in the formulas ON Sheet3 to point at Sheet4 instead of Sheet2
End of the day Sheet1 and Sheet3 are summarizing data from Sheet2 and Sheet4, respectively. The issue is there are a LOT of cells with formulas (hundreds) on Sheet1, so manually updating the sheet reference on Sheet3 to point at sheet4 instead of Sheet2 would be very tedious. Is there are streamlined way to do this a la "find/replace" but looking at the parameters of formulas rather than value in the cells?
