    How to Automatically Sum Totals for Room Bookings based on Price Criteria

    I am organising a conference and use a spreadsheet for the bookings.

    I use one column to record the type of accommodation required for each party with D for Double Room, S for single and T for Twin.

    What formula would I need to total these automatically so x Double rooms, y single and z twin ?
