How to copy a formula without the link

I know this is a very basic question, but one that has bugged me for too long, and google doesn't ever give me the correct answer.

So how do I copy a formula from one spreadsheet to another without the formula automatically linking back to the original location.

    =LOOKUP(A21,'C:\Users\north\Documents\Reports\10-9-18\[Producer Report 10-9-18.xlsm]BackEnd'!$F:$G,'C:\Users\north\Documents\Reports\10-9-18\[Producer Report 10-9-18.xlsm]BackEnd'!$E:$E)

I'm sure it frustratingly easy, when you know how.

    Thx

There may be other ways, but I usually copy from the formula bar, go to the new sheet and select the cell, then paste into the formula bar.

I just put an apostrophe in front of the equal sign and it becomes text and just copy it all.

Or, just copy from the formula bar, and paste in the new sheet's formula bar
