Gantt-like Chart Based on Dates and Percentage

    Hi,

I'm trying to create an automated gantt chart that takes into account dates and %.
The formula I've come up with works fine, except it doesn't capture when mid-week arrival/departures >> =IF(AND($A5<=D$1,$B5>=D$2),$C5,"")

    Column A: Arrival Date
    Column B: Departure Date
    Column C: %

    Row 1: Date (Week Starting)
    Row 2: Date (Week Ending)

In the document attached, I've manually input the values I would expect to see in red based on the dates/% entered to the left.

Any ideas how I could fold both dates and % into mid-week values would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks!

How did you calculate the numbers in red? Your dates show that you are considering seven-day weeks. If the utilization is 50%, and in the last week there are only 2 days, the number should be 0.5 * 2 / 7 =0.14, but you have 0.15.

You are correct -- my mistake! It should be 0.14

I used this formula in D5, copy to the right and down:

This assumes you just made a mistake and your 0.15 should really be 0.14.
