I am looking for a formula to sum the Debit values in Col I and credit Values (shown as debit values but in Col marked credit Values) in Col J where the ref is the same in Col A
I have set up a simple formula in Col K to show the result
It would be appreciated if someone could kindly assist me

Thanks for the help. What is does the * in the formula mean ?
similar to And, (A2<>A1)*(A2<>"") = True*True = 1
I thought it may be similar to AND but was not 100% sure
