dear all,
we are facing a problem regarding US text dates.
It says 1/13/2016 but that should be 13-1-2016.
We tried to convert the text to columns but that doesn't seem to change the US date text.
Can someone help?

You could use Power Query to convert dates for you.
Attach a sample workbook.
Go Advanced -> manage Attachments -> Upload
sample has been added
These should be the steps,

In what way did TextToColumns not work? Did you specify a Date field in MDY format in the last step?

Check your pc system date format.
go to >start > control panel > Region and Language > check short date & long date format it should be short date is dd-mm-yyyy & long date: dd MMMM yyyy
click also addition setting tab check short & long date format.
