Post Combining a Time Stamp Cell

I am combining a text cell and a time stamp cell. When I combine the two, the time stamp is automatically converted to text. I instead what the time to still appear as "11:30" not as text.

    Current

    Cell A
    Blue
    Black

    Cell B
    11:30
    12:30

    Combine (A + B)
    Blue-0.479166666666667
    Black-0.520833333333333

    Desired Outcome

    Cell A
    Blue
    Black

    Cell B
    11:30
    12:30

    Combine (A + B)
    Blue-11:30
    Black-12:30

    Assistance appreciated.
    Thanks
    Alec

    Welcome to the forum!

You can do it like this:

    =A1&" "&TEXT(B1,"hh:mm")
