    Finding maximum value of 3 contiguous cells in a row

    I have a worksheet with 12 columns and many rows.
    I need to find the maximum value of any 3 touching cells in each row. That is the maximum of A+B+C, B+C+D, C+D+E and so on.
    I can achieve this by brute force, but I feel that an elegant solution might well be possible.
    I have attached a sample of one row as an illustration,
