I don't understand where to make the change sorry.
Right now I had it as
g.Offset(,1).Value=
I just wanted you to change it to
g.Offset(1).Value=
The original code has been edited now
Hi, in the 'Holidays' sheet, name the range 'A3: A20' as 'holidays_'.
In the 'January' sheet, select the range 'A3: N33' -> conditional formatting -> new rule = COUNTIF (holidays_; A3) -> fill color.
Repeat for the remaining months.
Regards.
Dave with the updated code I am getting compile error at End Sub
Hi Dave,
In your code post #2, the m is not defined as a variable.
@xjohnson,
Add End With right before End Sub

I appreciate all of the responses but the rules changes seem difficult to do for my abilities.
Here is your workbook back with the updated code, also January sheet has a sample that maras_mak was referring to.
I put the End With and it works great thanks Jeffrey.
There is one exception though. There is a day for next year's New Year Day that I would like in the end of the end of the December month. There may also be a few days there if we take more days for the Christmas break.
Can this be added?
Thank you
I like the change to highlight the day when there is activity thanks Dave and Maras.
Wow this is a great workbook so far. Hope others can benefit.
Hi everyone,
Thanks for help but is there a way to also request that December includes the extra days for January of 2019 from the Holidays sheet?
See new revision please.
Thank you,
XJ
