    print sheet calculator

I found this thread below and find it very helpful. I was wondering if based on the solution, instead of choosing the source paper manually (via drop-down menu), how can you calculate automatically if I only have 2 kinds of source paper? i.e. SRA3 and A3. My idea is, after enterng the dimension, it will automatically calculte which paper source is the best option.

    Thank you.

    Andre

    Hi

You could create a simple VLOOKUP table and lookup a dimension against the first column of the table and return a paper type from the second column.

I'm thinking of more of an if/then syntax. If I use vlookup, how can it choose automatically which paper size to use?

does one dimension of a piece of paper uniquely imply a size of paper e.g 420 translates to A3
