Extend formula when adding a column

I am trying to see if there is a way existing formulas can include any new columns i add. I have attached a sample workbook. Essentially, i want to add a new column before column G and i want column G, which has the formulas to include the values i enter in the new column so that i dont have to manually update the formulas daily. I have included the formulas i have configured in column G into column H for ease of visibility.

You could change the formula in G3 to this:

    =SUM(C3:INDEX(A3:G3,COLUMN(G3)-1))

then if you insert a new column G the formula (now in H3) will include the new column.

    Hope this helps.
