formula to countif No and blank cells

    formula to countif No and blank cells

    =SUM(COUNTIFS(Data!R:R,RTA!A:A,Data!Q:Q,">1/1/1900",Data!U:U,{"No",""},Data!N:N,"",Data!F:F,{"Clinical Negligence","Financial Mis-Selling","Highway Tripper","Holiday Illness","Industrial Disease","Other PI (Non RTA)","SIPP","Solar","Tripping","Works Accident"}))

    Hi I am having trouble with the above formula. I want it to look in the data sheet, in column U, and count cells containg No and blank. It is not counting anything at all, I guess its to do with this part of the formula Data!U:U,{"No",""}

    Can someone please help me and tell me where I am going wrong?

    Hi,

    In this case, your two array constants need to be orthogonal to each other, i.e. one a vertical vector, the other a horizontal.

    Change:

    {"No",""}

    to:

    {"No";""}
