Count unique values from multiple columns with criteria

Hi

Is it possible to find unique values (numeric) from multiple columns with criteria? There are a lot of examples on how to count unique values in one column (with criteria) and a few examples on how to count unique values in more than one column without criteria, but unfortunately nothing that would be helpful in my case…

I am dealing with a large table (hundreds of thousands rows, several columns), here's an example of it:

C1 C2 C3 C4 C5 C6 C7 C8 C9 Type
A
1 2 2 A
3 C
2 B
n/a A
4 B
5 2 C
n/a C
3 2 C
B
n/a 5 A


What I would like to know is how many unique values (numeric) are in Type "A"? The answer should be "3" (numbers 1, 2, 5).
Can anyone help me out with this issue?

Hi and welcome
Attach a sample workbook (not a picture or pasted copy). Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.
