Combine percentage formula with dynamic range

Hello,

I have created a dynamic name range called "Data".

It contains the following offset formula: =OFFSET('2019 Data'!$D$2,1,0,COUNTA('2019 Data'!$D:$D)-2,4)

I would like to combine a percentage formula the "Data" range So that my empty fields calculate through a range:
A B C
1 Sales 1 sales 3 sales 3

=b1/a1-1(Data) is not working out. Please help

Re: Combine percentage formula with dynamic range

There isnt really a "percentage" formula per say. All a percentage is, is something along the lines of "how many did divided by how many could"
eg how many voted compared to the voter population

To best describe or illustrate your problem you would be better off attaching a dummy workbook. The workbook should contain the same structure and some dummy data of the same type as the type you have in your real workbook - so, if a cell contains numbers & letters in this format abc-123 then that should be reflected in the dummy workbook.

To attach a file to your post,
click advanced (next to quick post),
scroll down until you see "manage file",
click that and select "add files" (top right corner).
click "select files" find your file, click "open" click "upload" click 'done" bottom right. click "submit reply"

Once the upload is completed the file name will appear below the input boxes in this window.
You can then close the window to return to the new post screen.
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)

Re: Combine percentage formula with dynamic range

Hello FDibbins,

I thank you for taking the time and providing feed back. I have uploaded an example as requested. To re-explain, I use the Formulas range located at:
Formula tab > Name manager > Week_08

=OFFSET([2-18-19.xlsx]eCW Lab Results Reconciliation '!$B$1,1,0,COUNTA([2-18-19.xlsx]eCW Lab Results Reconciliation '!$B:$B)-1,9)

Goal is to: Have a dynamic formula that when I run the "Week_08" formula for the WK 08 column along with =F3,E3-1 it will dynamical to calculate the percent change in the I3 COLUMN and to do to the next column once more information is entered in the next week column. Hope that made sense.
