Pivot Tabel Custom Date Filter "before or equal to: This Date Last Year

Hello all,

Using a Pivot Table to look at all Confirmed Records last year. I need to add a Custom Date filter in the Pivot Table that says show all records where the Confirmed Date is "before or equal to" this date last year.

How do I either:
1) In the Custom Date Filter reference a cell on the sheetwith the Date
2) In the Custom Date Filter put in a formula to reference this Date last year.

Essentially how do I use this formula in a Pivot Table Custom Date Filter : "=DATE(YEAR(TODAY())-1,MONTH(TODAY()),DAY(TODAY()))"
