I have Cell AE16 with the Following Formula
Cell AI3 Has the Value "TRUE" yet AE16 is returning "NO"

The formula is working correctly, but it is incorrect for your requirements. You need this:
=IF(AI3=TRUE,"YES","NO")
The result in AI3 is TRUE/FALSE, not text.

Or you could just do this:
=IF(AI3,"YES","NO")

Quite right - I wanted to highlight the difference between the formulae, though.

So sorry for the delayed reply. Yes that works and sorry for such a basic question that i overlooked!
As a follow up to this, is there a way of testing a range of cells rather than test the one. The range would be AI1:AI12
