    Conditional format all Text

In my selection I have Numbers, I have Text, and I have alphanumeric (text and numbers) values. I want to hide, by CF, everything that's not a pure number. How would I do that using a formula for my CF?
    I know I'm not stupid, but I suspect I'm a lot stupider than I think I am

The only way to hide would be to give the cell content the same color as the background (or the opposite)
This being said you can use =TYPE($A1)<>1 as CF. Format as required and adapt references

Hadn't thought of using Type, but don't see any benefit in using it over ISNUMBER. Is there something I'm missing?
