Need Help Transposing First Row of Duplicate Names to a Column

I'm currently trying to transpose the first row based on the client name (there are many unique names) using the values under the column headers "Week 0" to "Week 13" and I'm having trouble due to the fact that I have 13 duplicates to help with indicating weeks 0-13 (ease of use in PowerBI). Is there a way to do this?

Will you please attach a sample Excel workbook? We are not able to work with or manipulate a picture of one and nobody wants to have to recreate your data from scratch.

    1. Make sure that your sample data are REPRESENTATIVE of your real data. The use of unrepresentative data is very frustrating and can lead to long delays in reaching a solution.

    2. Make sure that your desired results are also shown (mock up the results manually).

    3. Make sure that all confidential data is removed or replaced with dummy data first (e.g. names, addresses, E-mails, etc.).

    4. Try to avoid using merged cells as they cause lots of problems.

Unfortunately the attachment icon doesn't work at the moment, so to attach an Excel file you have to do the following: just before posting, scroll down to Go Advanced and then scroll down to Manage Attachments. Now follow the instructions at the top of that screen.

Please pay particular attention to point 2 (above): without an idea of your intended outcomes, it is often very difficult to offer appropriate advice.

A picture of a worksheet is no use for working on, so it would help if you attached a sample Excel workbook. Put some realistic data in there (your picture seems to show only zero values), and indicate how you would like the data to be transformed, maybe with a Before and After sheet.

To attach a file, click on Go Advanced (below the Edit Window) while you are composing a reply, then scroll down to and click on Manage Attachments and the Upload window will open. Click on Browse and navigate to (and double-click) the file icon that you want to attach, then click on Upload and then on Close this Window to return to the Edit window. When you have finished composing your post, click on Submit Post.

Don't try to use the Paperclip icon, as it doesn't work on this forum.

    Hope this helps.

Re: Need Help Transposing First Row of Duplicate Names to a Column

Sorry about all that, essentially what I'm trying to do is transpose the first row values in 'Week 0' to 'Week 13' based on
'Client Name' into a new column next to the Week Number column so that it matches as the week column header
can be seen in the After sheet). I know there's a way to do it manually but I'm wanting to make it more efficient/automatic
since I have over 11,000 rows and 900 unique client names in the real dataset. Thanks!

You can put this formula in cell W2:

    =INDEX(D2:Q2,MOD(ROWS($1:1)-1,14)+1)

    then copy down as required.

    Hope this helps.
