Need to "fill" the highest value in each row of Cols D, F, H, J, L, N and P on attached.
Formula for Row 3 (=($C3:$P3)=MAX($D3,$F3,$H3,$J3,$L3,$N3,$P3) should fill J3, but doesn't.
All solutions, suggestions and alternatives welcome as ever.

Nothing wrong with the formula but it cannot go in cell J3 because J3 is included in the formula so it gives a circular reference.
