Calculated Field to update automatically when Pivot is Updated

    Hi Everyone

I hope my title is not too long. I've created a calculated field adjacent to the pivot(Transaction). Is there a formula by which the calculated field will automatically update vertically when the pivot is dated with more data? At the moment I've copied down the formula into empty cells which is not tidy and also leaves it open to errors. My calculated field basically is extra column to convert the sales amount into their respect currency totals so it lookups from another pivot (Currency) and an FX table. The currency pivot is sourced from a massive raw data(26 columns), however I need just 4 fields, hence the pivot. I share this spreadsheet with a large team hence I want to embed as much control as possible to prevent errors. Any ideas on is much appreciated. Many thanks

Have you tried having 1 main data table (for the pivot table) and include the currency and conversion factor? In the table you could use vlookup to put in the currency lookup factor.
Your data doesn't currently update because your 'calculated fields' are NOT part of the Pivot Table (there are calculated fields in a pivot table, but i don't believe that you can use vlookup in them). The idea is to have all your info with the Currency conversions in your data tab for the pivot table. Then you will have Pivot table automatically updated.
I provided an example: My pivot table is on the 'On line Sales Portal Download' as an example...I did the calculations in that table of info. I hope you like it and if you do Please click on the STAR to Add Reputation - to show that I have assisted you.
