Formula for checking against specific rules/requirements

Hi all,

I hope I will be able to explain this right, but what I need is a formula that can return value based on specific rule sets (multiple conditions)

I have a data set that is consistent, but the rule has to be based on few requirements.

In the table above the formula in "Status" field should check When "Type" is Operations Internal it is valid only when the "Group" is Internal with exception if "Category" is Sales and Marketing

If that has to be 2 different rule sets used and then joined together I'm fine with that. I just can't find the right approach and I'm stuck with this for a few hours already.
