Hi,

Would like a way of filtering all dates except for the last and first date of each month, in every year.

My dates can start at everything from the first to the fourth of the month , due to the fact that i am dealing with data only for working days.

Ok. I still don't get it.
You just want me to pick out the 1st and last(30th or 31st) of each month so that you can filter them away?

Or does this have to do with workdays?

Here's one option:

E9 =--(OR(TEXT(A8,"my")<>TEXT(A9,"my"),TEXT(A9,"my")<>TEXT(A10,"my")))

Filter by column E to show only 1's.

Dirty data line 30 to 52 and it repeats. Your formula does not work for the dirty data, at least not in this region.
