Index-Match array giving first value when no match

Hi,

I'm using an array to return the most recent value in an index-match.

=INDEX($D$2:$D$2000,MATCH(MAX(($C$2:$C$2000=$I2)*($A$2:$A$2000)),(($C$2:$C$2000=$I2)*($A$2:$A$2000)),0))

(I've attached the workbook. In that example the slots in red should error because there is no corresponding match in column C).


I'd like to wrap it in an iferror so it returns "empty" when there is no value. But it's just returning the top value, no error.

Can anyone help?
