How do i create a dropdown where i can select from the list of cars and then display the total in the next column.

the attached would be one way, I created a distinct list of your models (you can put it anywhere in either tab) in the total tab then a vlookup for the selection and inserted a combo box off the developer tab and applied the range for the list to it, then put a countif formula in B2 and the selection from the dropdown in A2 so that it recalculates each time you select a different model.
Make contributors happy, click on the "* Add Reputation" as a way to say thank you.
