Trying to create an automated Excel Gantt Chart

Hello,

I am currently trying to develop a table that acts much like a Gantt Chart, however I'm having trouble developing a formula that will allow the 'chart' aspect.

Based on the layout of the table (see attached), what I would like to be able to do is assign a formula to cell F2 that can identify whether the month shown in F1 is within the date range shown in D2:E2, by returning a value of 1 if Yes and 0 in Not (or something along these lines).

Hi G, I hope this helps. Must admit I know nothing about pivot tables (which is what I think you have - like I said, I no nothing).
If my "normal" formula doesn't work, it might lead you to a correct answer.

This is perfect, thanks so much! Also, just an observation, this is not a pivot table but an Excel Table, which you get by selecting a regular table and pressing Ctrl+T - quite useful as it automatically applies filters to headers and auto-populates formulas down empty columns.
