    Excel - Conditional Formatting Multiple Criteria

    Hi there,

    I would like to highlight rows/cases based on if a case/record has gone past a set time period in days/hours. Based on the following rules:

    For example if a case has priority level of 2 but has taken 7 days it will highlight the row as red. I would like to base it on the following rules.

    Targets
    1 = 4 hrs
    2 = 5 Days
    3 = 20 Days

    I have tried conditional formatting but can't seem to get it to work, any help with this would be greatly appreciated. (Please See attached)

    Many thanks

    Hi,
    I think the sample file do not fit exactly the description text - You got there priority 2 - 5 while in description 1 - 3. But let's try, and you can use similar approach modified to meet real needs.
    I used the conditional formating rule based on a formula (for cell C1) :
    Formula: copy to clipboard

    and then copied the formatting (with formats painter) to cells A1:A11 and C1:C11
    so the formatting is done only if state is "in progress" and the difference between Updated and Opened is bigger than
    4 hrs for priority 1
    2 days for priority 2
    3, 4 and 20 for priority levels 3-5 resp.

    Best Regards,

    Kaper
