Filtered Tables - Average and Sum

I have a TABLE with data, and a set of Slicers to filter the data. On another SHEET I wish to display the AVERAGE of a column from the TABLE, whatever I do I seem to get the AVERAGE of the entire table rather than only that which is displayed via the filter. What am I doing wrong, Do I need a dynamic range, I thought this would be active seeing as the data is held within the TABLE
