    Split text into Columns

    Hello everyone,

    I need to split this text into Columns..

    A1
    "2019-08-29 03:54:42: Bericht verschicken
    2019-08-26 02:44:24: Anfrage erstellt"

    A2
    "2019-08-29 11:52:46: Anfrage abgeschlossen
    2019-08-29 03:55:28: Bericht verschicken"

    A3
    "2019-08-29 11:55:16: Anfrage abgeschlossen
    2019-08-29 03:53:55: Bericht verschicken
    2019-08-26 03:50:56: Anfrage erstellt"

    Note: I am using Mac2019 and Control + J is not working!

    If someone could help...

    It appears the Date and Time parts of the string are consistent in length therefore can't you use Data TextToColumns with the fixed width option.

    Yes, maybe because I don't know much about excel, I'm still a beginner.
    Maybe a formula is needed or anything..!! no idea ://

    No, a formula is not necessary although a string slicing function would do the job.

    As I said the simplest way is to use the Functionality Excel gives you in the Ribbon Menu
    Select the column of data you want to convert to columns. Then on the Ribbon menu select the DATA menu, then look inside the Data Tools area about half way along.
    There you'll see a Text To Columns icon.

    Click that and use the fixed width option and insert the lines at the spaces you want to break into columns.
