Re: Summing categories from multiple table and creating an monthly report

Ok I was able to attach the file. I tried earlier, it wasn't working before. But this is basically what I've been trying to figure out.

I have multiple data sheets, and I need to create a monthly sum for APPLE & ORANGE for the
month of JAN FEB MAR APR MAY JUN JUL AUG SEP OCT NOV DEC

    E.g.

    APPLE & ORANGE JAN: 120
    APPLE & ORANGE FEB: 160
    APPLE & ORANGE MAR: 80

Re: Summing categories from multiple table and creating an monthly report

Are you sure your example is correct? You say,
    APPLE & ORANGE JAN: 120
    APPLE & ORANGE FEB: 160
    APPLE & ORANGE MAR: 80

But to me it looks like all your months for Apple OR Orange should be 210.

Assuming that is correct, an option to get what you need (but maybe you aren't able to do this), I added a "helper" column to each table that says what month number it is.
In addition, at the bottom I changed the text for JAN, FEB, etc. to real dates (1st date of month) and formatted as a 3 letter month. I then added this formula in C36, which then can be copied (or dragged) to the rest of the cells under each month:

    =SUM(SUMIFS(Table2[[VALUE]:[VALUE]],Table2[[CATEGORY]:[CATEGORY]],{"Apple","Orange"},Table2[[Column1]:[Column1]],MONTH(C35)))+SUM(SUMIFS(Table24[[VALUE]:[VALUE]],Table24[[CATEGORY]:[CATEGORY]],{"Apple","Orange"},Table24[[Column1]:[Column1]],MONTH(C35)))+SUM(SUMIFS(Table25[[VALUE]:[VALUE]],Table25[[CATEGORY]:[CATEGORY]],{"Apple","Orange"},Table25[[Column1]:[Column1]],MONTH(C35)))
