    vlookup returning for values that doesn't exist in the table lookup, other scenarios

    Hello

    While I was doing some data checking/validation, I notice all of the following occurrences:
    • entries that should be saying #N/A
    • entries that are returning "0" value
    • entries that are giving the last value from the lookup table

    I was able to reproduce them for a sample data set, in which I will attach.

    What is going on and how can I prevent these errors?
