    Calculating days worked based on occurences

    I am trying to calculate the total days per month an employee has worked based on the data loaded into the interview log. My goal is to identify how may days they were actually in the office interviewing clients, but so far every formula I have tried comes back as "0" or with an error. I have tried various counts and sumproduct variations, and at this point my brain is just not making sense of what to do. I attached a sample of the interview log I am using currently.

    Used this in B10 on Sept tab.

    I created a helper column on Interview log tab using simple formula to capture unique dates in column A.

    Question, how would I update the helper column to count if there are different employees?
