Sorry for off-topic interjection:
Although there is no official rule regarding this behavior, we request that wherever possible both the question AND the answer be provided in substantive detail here within the thread. An attached workbook is an excellent aid for posing a question and offering a solution, but solely doing that with no in thread explanation makes it difficult for researchers to understand or consider the Q & A of this thread without downloading what may be a pointless doc to them, if they can do that at all. Doing that also hides the content from search engines so others may never benefit from this.
I'm sure you understand, and we look forward to seeing you post your formulas/macros in your posts for the searching benefit of all.
Thanks again for all your hard work here!
Hi FDibbins,
I'm sorry, but I Don't understand what I am to change, as I don't even know what to call the formula or discussion?
Regards
Dear FDibbins.
I'll try my best to explain my solution (with my poor English >_<" ).
First of all , requester didn't know what formula or calculation condition to get the answer,
so he just give all result in value on the form (as attatch image).
After look in his form & data I try to figure out what it is base on (or come from) and think that
it might comefrom price of ticket calculation & calc for % give to other party.
Then begin with 1 / 2 / 4 people (ticket at once) result is 10, 19, 35
it's mean they might have a discount for 1+ people : 1 = 10 and 2 must be (10 - discount ) x 2)
and I guess it is 0.5 per ticket so price might be (10-0.5) x 2 and it correct and so for 4 people
discount is 1.25 = (10 - 1.25) x 4
** from this point I don't enter to enter discount directly in cell formula because of change it's
value vary.
then for next column is alson in the same way , (guess for market fee %, and gts credit %)
finally it stop at 30% market fee, 3% gts credit
Then formula on each cells is
C10
=$A10*C$2
while $A10 = number of ticket , C$2 = ticket price each ( for other volumn price will change from discount : G and K )
D10
=C10*D$2
while C10 is from (number of ticket x amount at once) , D$2 = market fee % (30% fixed)
E10
=ROUND(C10*E$2,2)
while C10 is from (number of ticket x amount at once) , E$2 = gts credit % (3% fixed)
F10
=C10-D10-E10
(number of ticket x amount at once) - market_fee - gts_credit
Regards.

@ Dingo, as Ali said, just explain what you need to do, in your own words. We will try and figure out what you need, and how you need to do it
@ menem, there is nothing wrong with your English, you described that very well!! And even if a member does not understand what you say, or how you say it, they can always ask again
Have I changed the title correct?
Also I have another formula I need someone to create for me.
I need to know what the next lowest amount will be only using the 1,2 or 4 person $ amounts?

Use this as your thread title, please: "What the next lowest amount will be only using the 1,2 or 4 person $ amounts".
Will you please attach a small sample Excel workbook? We are not able to work with or manipulate a picture of one and nobody wants to have to recreate your data from scratch.
Unfortunately the attachment icon doesn't work at the moment (it hasn't worked for years, and despite our repeatedly asking the technical team who own the forum to fix it, they can't be bothered to do so), so to attach an Excel file you have to do the following: just before posting, scroll down to Go Advanced and then scroll down to Manage Attachments. Now follow the instructions at the top of that screen.
Please find Excel file attached
Thanks
Please change your title as I instructed in post #11.
Dingo.... in effectthe problem is very straightforward. However, the data layout A3 to a10 will make ANY formula extremely complicated!! Is there flexibility here?
Glenn
None of us get paid for helping you... we do this for fun. So DON'T FORGET to say "Thank You" to all who have freely given some of their time to help YOU.
Temporary addition of accented to illustrate ongoing problem to the TT: L? fh?ile P?draig sona dhaoibh
With data layout changed:
=SUMPRODUCT((A3:C3)*$F$2:$H$2)
Hi Glenn, yes there is flexibility here, what I am looking for is when someone sends me a $ amount I know which of the product they have bought and how many.
eg. an amount comes through for $382.57, I than know that the customer brought - 12 x '1 person' + 9 x '2 people' + 8 '4 people'
Thanks Glenn that grate, but I need to to go all the way down to - 20 x 1 person + 20 x 2 people + 20 x 4 people = $857.60
