Hi,
We have an excel file that has external link to other files. The links are simple without formula involved.
But for a particular file, we found that the link in the cells read "V:\@GMT-2019.12.02-14.00.00\CORP"
This is weird because we only have one version of this external file and it should read "V:\CORP". and now when we update our external file, the cells do not get updated because they are pointing towards a file that do not exist.
I have never enounter such before. What is wrong?

Try this:
1) Open the file
2) Go to DATA > EDIT LINKS
3) Click on the reference to wrong file
4) Select CHANGE SOURCE
5) Locate the correct file and select it.
Another way:
1) Open the CORP file
2) Open the main file
3) Close the CORP file
4) Save the main file
5) Check the EDIT LINKS to see if it now points to the correct file.

We have to go through every link in "edit links" and found several with this issues. and we have changed the source to make sure they are pointing to the right file.
It looks like someone has picked up our file and probably set a protection, thus it is pointed to a saved cache version of source files (which are also in the same location as our main file).
