    Aggregate function sum

I am trying to sum all values in a cell given certain criteria.

    =AGGREGATE(9,4,INDEX(DATA RANGE,0,MATCH(YEAR,YEAR NUMBER COLUMNS,0))/((CODE COLUMN=CODE NUMBER)*(COUNTRY COLUMN=COUNTRY)))

This is the illustrative function i am using.

The three criteria are: Code (row), Country (row), and Year (column)

I want the function to automatically change as i change any of these criteria in a drop down list.

Does not have to specifically be this function. I am trying to sum all numbers given these criteria.

    Thanks!

    Instructions (Please Read Carefully):

Unfortunately the attachment icon doesn't work at the moment (it hasn't worked for years, and despite our repeatedly asking the technical team who own the forum to fix it, they can't be bothered to do so), so to attach an Excel file you have to do the following: just before posting, scroll down to Go Advanced and then scroll down to Manage Attachments. Now follow the instructions at the top of that screen.

    Try: =SUMPRODUCT(($D$6:$D$12=$M$6)*($E$6:$E$12=$M$7)*($F$5:$I$5=$M$8),$F$6:$I$12)
