I want to know if the word in cell A1 is the same as in cell B1. When I compare numbers I simply make the formula =B1-A1. If the result is 0 then I know the numbers are equal. But how to do the same with words?
So when A1 has the word Apple I want to be sure that in cell B1 is not written "Aple" or "Pears"
How about
=A1=B1
Use function 'EXACT' => =EXACT(A1,B1)
