hi all im trying to make a a spreadsheet with four tabs
1 master tab with all information ( Data Entry)
2 product 1 tab
3 product 2 tab
4 product 3 tab
i want to fill in the master tab (Data Entry) and then based on the product in column b populate the repective sheets with the amount in column c so they match the dates
any help would be much appreciated

Are you still using Excel 2010 or something newer?
Is there any reason why you can't just filter the master list on product?

Unfortunately it needs to be on separate sheets otherwise using the filter option would be the easier option
im using office 365 i dont know which version sorry

Office 365 is your version - it's a subscription model, so always up-to-date. Please update your forum profile.
As you have Office 365, you can use PowerQuery for this. How many products are we looking at in total? See if the attached might work for you - I can explain how to do it if it appeals.

unfortuently tabs 1 2 and 3 need the full list of dates in column 3 as there will be other information in there aswell as they are daily sheets
That makes no sense. You said that the data entry sheet is the master sheet. I would not advise any set-up where you have data entry on multiple sheets. I strongly advise you rethink this.
