Sum based on label criteria and date

This has been solved and I've chosen to remove all context.

Please upload a small representative workbook sample. The instructions are in the 'gold' banner at the top of this page titled "HOW TO ATTACH YOUR SAMPLE WORKBOOK:" and begin with your name.

Re: Sum based on label criteria and date

but when I press enter, It comes back blank.
That is due to your settings
Go to File > Options > Advanced > Display options for this worksheet was unchecked. I checked it in the attached.

just the rows aren't wide enough so they appear as ## currently Any help is appreciated!
Select columns F:OL. Hover the mouse pointer above the right border of any of those columns. When you see the "cross hairs" double click. The cells will widen appropriately.

Find today's date in cell E3.

Then this formula in D33 and filled down.
    Formula: copy to clipboard

Re: Sum based on label criteria and date

Thanks, this is fantastic! I changed the formula to: =SUMPRODUCT(($F$4:$OL$4<=TODAY())*($B33=$C$6:$C$17)*$F$6:$OL$17) to make the "today" calculation more efficient (not having to reference a cell with =TODAY()) entered, and instead directly into the formula.

    Thanks again so much!

Re: Sum based on label criteria and date

You are welcome. Glad to help. Thank you for the feedback and added rep.

    FWIW:
I deliberately put the TODAY() in its own separate cell and then referenced that cell. If you are not aware of it TODAY is one of the volatile functions. It is in consideration of volatility that I did that.

If you would like to know more about that and its importance you could try this link.

If that takes care of your original question, please select Thread Tools from the menu link above and mark this thread as SOLVED.
