SUM needed for last 12 months data based on date

    Good morning all,

I've been passed a large spreadsheet that's a mess. In one of the tabs, ever month they pull down the calc to the current 12 month period.

Is there a way that you add a SUMIF formula that will sum the 12 months from the date entered into cell $C$2? I need the formula for columns C, D, E, F and G.

I've attached a copy of the file for your consideration. Thank you kindly.

Obviously Yes, is the answer to your question.

And if you want the formula just share the raw sample data.

FYI you can use SUMIFS function here that would help you better.

Thank you. I knew the sumif or sumifs would probably work but wasn't sure how you would do that with the count function. I attached a sample of the file.

    Thanks again

Re: SUM needed for last 12 months data based on date

I attached the sample excel file in my first post but this is what the data looks like.

Right now the calc in row 41 is SUM($C18:$C29), which is January 2020 back 12 months (to February 2019) and has to be manually updated every month.

I'd like the totals in row 41 to calculate the last 12 months based on the value in cell $C$2 if at all possible.

I've seen some SUM functions using offset but I couldn't get it to work. I hope this helps.

    Thank you.

I figured it out and used =SUMIFS($C$6:C125,$B$6:$B125,">"&EDATE($C$3,-12),$B$6:$B125,"<="&$C$3)
