MATCH formula to read colum from a cell

Hello,

TRying to have a formula a formula like:

=MATCH(J5,B9:B176,0)  

But I want it to read the column number from cell K4, which is "2" for Column B but varies each time (could be 3 or 5 etc.)

Thinking to use R1C1 format like:

=MATCH(J5, R9C[K4]:R176C[K4])

Is there a way to achieve this?
